ASSET MANAGEMENT
In 2014 Angus co-founded Sharow Capital which quickly established itself as a high-quality provider of investment solutions across CEE, with particular success in delivering astute acquisition strategies and expert asset management.

Since 2014 Angus has been responsible for the acquisition and management of 6 office buildings in Poland, totalling €135 million. All six assets were sourced by Angus on an off-market basis, and he ran the due diligence process on behalf of the investors. Angus was also instrumental in arranging a debt facility with Santander and Mbank for the acquisitions.
UK INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
Angus has been active in the UK Industrial & Logistics market since 1996. Most recently Angus has been involved in the development of multi let industrial schemes in the Midlands and South East of England.

Angus started acquiring residential property in London in 1998.

HOTEL INVESTMENT
Angus has a deep knowledge of the Hotel and Hospitality industrial and in 2011 set up JLL’s Hotel & Hospitality Division in Central Europe and was responsible for transacting €275m of prime hotels in CEE (90% of all transactions in market). This includes transactions in Poland, Czech, Hungary, Croatia, and Bulgaria.

PROPERTY INVESTMENT & ADVISORY
Angus is one of the leading investment advisors in Europe and has acquired and sold over €2.65 Bn of assets in Europe. He has advised some of the largest funds and building owners, including Deka, Heitman, AVIVA, Legal & General.

Angus also led the valuation team at King Sturge which has enabled him to develop unrivalled relationships with all the lending and financing banks in Europe.
Between 2012 and 2014 he helped many banking institutions including IBRC and NAMA of Ireland and Hypo Alpe Adria of Austria on restructuring of their real estate debt in CEE and SEE.
As Managing Director and Country Manager of King Sturge in Czech and Slovakia. Angus was responsible for a team of 75 people who offered all aspects of real estate services to their clients. Angus was an Equity Partner at King Sturge and a key member of the European team in the successful sale to JLL in 2010.

EUROPEAN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
Since 2020 Angus has advised several international real estate companies on developing and operating urban industrial and distribution facilities in strategic locations across Europe.

The businesses were focused on delivering last-mile logistics, built-to-suit, small business units and cross-dock facilities within the urban environment. The buildings will be Bream Excellent and focused on Net Carbon Zero.
Working with local and international companies they look to deliver modern A Class warehouse and logistic premises to e-commerce, retail, 3PL, warehouse, light industrial, supply chain and SME occupiers.

PROP TECH PORTAL
My Hippo is a prop tech business allowing private individuals to access commercial property investments. The platform uses crowdfunding to make investing in commercial property easy, transparent, and feasible.
ESG
Promoting green solutions is close to Angus’s heart. Prior to his Masters in Property Valuation & Law, Angus studied Countryside Management & the Environment which gave him a unique insight into sustainability and environmental issues.

Angus ensured that the six office buildings under his management had the highest ESG ratings possible. The WELL Health-Safety Rating confirmed the highest standards of safety in the buildings and care for the health and well-being of their users, while the BREEAM In-Use certificate confirmed the environmental aspects and quality of property management.

Angus ensures that all developments focus on the latest green credentials and strives for Net Carbon Zero in each case.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Angus has created an ethical framework in which he works and cooperates with several charities and social organisations in UK and Europe.
